                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN UNNAMED
                   STREET LOCATED NORTHWEST FROM PANORAMA DRIVE,
                   SOUTHWEST OF EAST BRAINERD ROAD, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an unnamed street located northwest from Panorama 

         Drive, southwest of East Brainerd Road, more particularly
         described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made 
a
         part hereof by reference:
                An unnamed 40 foot wide right-of-way beginning on
                the northwest line of Panorama Drive some 455 feet
                southwest of the intersection of the northwest line
                of Panorama Drive with the southwest line of East
                Brainerd Road (as now located), said point being
                the southeast corner of lot 10, block A, Amended
                Plat of J.F. Bork's Mountain View Addition, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 14, page 72,
                R.O.H.C., thence northwest some 245.85 feet with
                the southwest line of said lot 10, and said line
                extended, thence curving northwest and southwest
                some 96.5 feet to a point some 27 feet southwest of
                the southwest line of said lot 10 (if said line
                extended), and 120 feet northwest (if measured at a
                right angle) of the northwest line of said lot 10
                (if extended), thence southwest some 45 feet
                parallel to the northwest line of said lot 10 (if
                extended), and the northwest line of lot 1, block
                B, said subdivision, thence curving northeast and
                southeast some 201 feet to a point in the northeast
                line of said lot 1 (if said line extended) some 25
                feet northwest of the northwest corner of said lot
                1, thence southeast some 243 feet with the
                northeast line of said lot 1, and said line
                extended, to the northwest line of Panorama Drive,
                said point being the northeast corner of said lot
                1, thence northeast 40 feet with Panorama Drive to
                the southeast corner of said lot 10, said street
                becoming a part of said lot 1 per deed recorded in
                deed book 992, page 166, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No.
                158F-G-6.
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
